Peer Review Process: All submissions undergo peer review. Approximately one-fifth undergo in-house review, with rejection based on factors such as lack of originality or relevance to a medical readership. External referees evaluate the remaining manuscripts. After a statistical review, suitable articles proceed to the monthly editorial panel meeting for a final decision, aiming for a publication decision within four months.

Authors need to provide signed consent for publication, with additional permissions required for original scientific articles and clinical case reports. Manuscripts should adhere to biomedical journal requirements. A non-refundable Submission/Publication fee of KES 6,000 is applicable.

Case reports and letters to the editor should adhere to specified length and content guidelines. Obituary announcements are accepted, with formal obituaries providing essential information.

Authorship, Conflict of Interest, and Ethical Issues: Authorship follows established criteria. Authors must disclose conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, political, or academic affiliations. Ethical considerations and compliance with international guidelines are emphasized.
